South Carolina brought in a 2022 recruiting class that was ranked as the No. 24 class in the country.
The high school class was highlighted by quarterback Tanner Bailey who was just one of seven four-stars in the Gamecocks’ class.
At South Carolina’s Media Day on Thursday afternoon, the upperclassman were asked which of the freshmen were standing out to them.

South Carolina running back Juju McDowell said he likes what all of the freshmen are bringing to the Gamecocks and said they are competing every day to get better.
“That is what we pride ourselves on here at the University of South Carolina,” McDowell said. “We are so competition oriented that you are going to notice somebody one way or the other. Whether it is positive or negative. Those guys have been making a mark and putting themselves in position to make plays. That is one thing that we like.”
